Hot melt glue gun and glue for a professional finish!
These small tools are very useful for both artistic tasks and professional work. Versatile, this hot melt glue gun can easily and effectively glue different types of materials: ceramics, plastic, metal, glass, cardboard, wood, some fabrics, electronic components etc. This makes it perfect for home repairs, DIY tasks and even car repairs! It fixes fast, because the hot glue solidifies quickly, leaving a strong bond. The glue it uses, similar to silicone, is made in hot melt adhesive (HMA) sticks in translucent white. The sticks are placed inside the gun, once equipped with them, it pushes them in, melts them and flows them through the nozzle. Glue guns can be battery operated or connected to the mains with a charger or cable and are powered by a simple electrical resistor that melts the adhesive and the pusher mechanism that moves the stick forward. Hot melt glue is easy to remove but can also be softened and melted using a hot air gun used for paint stripping. This type of tool is very easy to use: First of all, the machine must be preheated. Depending on the power of the gun, the preheating time will vary. Once it is hot, we can apply the bead or dots of glue. This has to be done quickly, as the thermal silicone leaves only a few seconds to manoeuvre, so the trick is to apply just the right amount and glue the piece quickly.
